Volunteer Roles

This role primarily involves communicating externally to build relationships with our constituents and donors. The Marketing & Communications Volunteer will work with our team—both in the US and abroad— to help develop and execute fundraising campaigns and events. This role includes project management, relationship building, and coalition building with organizations and communities of interest.

Desired Qualification

First and foremost, volunteers must have compassion for those communities that are not as fortunate as us.

Volunteers should be familiar with using social media and other online tools to generate interest in a business or project, and should have exceptional written and spoken communication skills. Interested applicants should be able to work in the office 1-2 days per week, with a time commitment of at least 10 hours per week.

An academic or professional background in marketing and/or PR is preferred but not required, as volunteers will be responsible for helping to plan and execute fundraising events and awareness campaigns.

We will provide volunteers with a travel and meal allowance, as well as a certificate of service.
